Check other config folders for more specific documentation. I've added very thorough documentation of this whole system to `.readme.mom`.
Compile it to be read with the following command:
[i3 guide and config](.config/i3/i3_guide.rmd) ```
groff -mom .readme.mom -Tpdf > larbs_readme.pdf
```
[ranger configuration](.config/ranger/luke_ranger_readme.md) Or, if you actually installed my dotfiles, you can just press `Super+F1`. The
reason this document is written in groff rather than markdown is so it can be
compiled realtime on the system, avoiding me pushing bloated .pdfs to this repo
everytime there's a need for documentation additions.
[list of scripts in the `~/.scripts/ directory`](.scripts/SCRIPTS.md) In the system, you can also press `Super+Shift+e` to watch tutorial videos on
different programs used. See [my YouTube channel](https://youtube.com/c/LukeSmithxyz) for more.
Store your favorite or high-traffic folders in `~/.config/Scripts/folders` or your most important config files in `~/.config/Scripts/configs` with keyboard shortcuts. When you add things to theses files my vimrc will automatically run `~/.config/Scripts/shortcuts.sh` which will dynamically generate shortcuts for these in bash, ranger and qutebrowser! Check out more info at the main repo for this: [shortcut-sync](https://github.com/lukesmithxyz/shortcut-sync). You will really want to take advantage of this for an extremely efficient setup! things to theses files my vimrc will automatically run `shortcuts` which will
For your info, if the second column is a capital letter, that means that it's *not* installed by default, only when the user specifically requests it. Those with lowercase letters are just for classification purposes. Don't think you have to install every package to get these dotfiles working of course, but this list is a *sufficient condition* for full functionality. If you run into an error running my dotfiles, chances are the package you need is there. `A` marks programs in the AUR, `G` marks git repositories.
The only program not listed on that list is the one you have to install manually: [my st build](https://github.com/lukesmithxyz/st), which is easy enough to install.
